I was in Enterprise for the storm. The tornado hit north of town, and followed the river back to Chapman.
The TV wasn't reliable, I was monitoring K-Link repeater, and Emergency Management on scanner/Ham
One of the local TV stations that I was monitoring said the storm was weakening in strength and was focused on a storm in Nebraska. Dickinson County Emergency Management spotted a lowering over the Abilene airport, and sounded the sirens for Enterprise/Chapman.
A deputy following the storm reported seeing the tornado heading across to Detroit, asked 800 (dispatch) to call the Restaurant/Bar. and followed storm to Chapman, where he reported massive damage to town.
